Dodge Professional Modification (DPM) is what really started me in trick jumping. It is a mod for UT2004 that requires players to complete specially designed maps as quickly as possible using the default physics and weapons.

I eventually became a member of the development team and took over as the leader of the mod and site for some time. I'm no longer the leader of DPM. However, I recommend trying this mod out if you have ever played UT2004.
